جنگ عظیم اول میں جرمنی اورخلافت عثمانیہ کی شکست پر ترکیہ کی قومی خودمختاری تسلیم کرنے کیلئے مغربی اتحاد نے شرعی قوانین کی منسوخی کی جوشرط رکھی تھی اسے پورے عالم اسلام کے ساتھ معاہدہ قراردیاجارہاہے۔ برطانوی وزیراعظم ٹونی بلیئر نے کہاتھا کہ دنیامیں کہیں شریعت نافذ نہیں ہونے دیں گے۔
After the defeat of Germany and its ally Ottoman Caliphate in the First World War, the western alliance set the condition of cancelling Sharia laws to recognize the national sovereignty of Turkey, which is being considered as an agreement with the whole Islamic world. British Prime Minister Tony Blair once said that Sharia will not be allowed anywhere in the world.
