سماج کے عمومی رجحانات کو فیصلوں کا حتمی معیار قرار دینے کا یہ منطقی نتیجہ ہے کہ مغربی معاشروں میں گناہ کا تصور معدوم ہو چکا ہے۔ اور سیاست و قانون کے بعد اب مذہب و اخلاق بھی مادرپدر آزاد معاشرہ کے بے لگام رجحانات کے پیچھے چلنے پر مجبور ہو گئے ہیں اور ان کا اپنا کوئی دائرہ باقی نہیں رہا۔
